You are invited to hear a panel of migrant advocates whose passion and presence is making a difference in the lives of our compadres whose work makes it possible for us to have fresh produce every day.

Chava Redonnet, Pastor of Oscar Romero Church, who celebrates Mass in Spanish with migrant workers in their home. Members of this community were arrested and jailed recently. Chava will tell us their stories and let us know how we can use our voices and our power as US citizens to speak up for those who dare not use theirs.

Callie Rabe, a High School Spanish teacher who resides in Livingston County, has been trying to set up a support network for families and friends of "disappeared" victims of raids. She has helped families find loved ones and visited and offered support to detainees at the Batavia Detention Center. She will talk about the raids and deportations, the actual situation at the BDC, what we can do.

Guest Speaker, coming with Callie Rabe, will give a personal account of a detained loved one.
