Living (and Dying) with the Wall:

An Update from the Mexico-Arizona Borderlands

The Rochester Committee on Latin America is honored to announce that George Dardess, just returned from his second winter in Tucson, will report on the effects of the border wall on communities on either side. He says, "The news is both tragic and hopeful. How the immigration issue gets resolved will play itself out here, in southern Arizona, one way or the other."

While in Tucson George worked with the organization No More Deaths which, among other work, trains volunteers to help place food and water in the desert just across the border with Mexico in the areas where immigrants are crossing.

Free and open to the public.
